PASSEPARTOUT >

WHAT IS PASSEPARTOUT?

Passepartout, i.e. perforated cardboard, is a cardboard frame to be placed under the glass of the framed photo. With the passepartout, the image becomes more the center of attention, thus it emphasizes the subject of the photo even more. The passepartout keeps the picture off the glass. This way, the image does not get stuck to the glass and stays cleaner. The passepartout we use is pH-neutral, which means it does not damage the image.

Nensa's paintings are framed in Finland. All frame models have real glass (no plexiglass). The frame has hangers on the back, from which the board can be hung both horizontally and vertically. The paper is not ordinary poster paper, but the paper we use is a semi-gloss pearlescent 260g paper that is made to withstand time and light for up to 100 years. All products are also packed and sent from Finland.
